Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps Performance in Kuwait Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Kuwait witnessed varied performance across the top apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower offering valuable insights.

Careem: Rides, grocery & more experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 3.4K at the beginning of July and peaking at approximately 4K by the end of September. The app also maintained a consistent level of weekly active users, rising from 21.4K to about 23.4K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride showed a fluctuating trend in downloads, beginning with 2.9K in early July and decreasing to about 2.3K by the end of September. Despite this, weekly active users demonstrated a positive trend, increasing from 33.6K to 38.1K.

DRV-Driver saw a significant spike in downloads mid-quarter, reaching a high of approximately 7.6K in the week of July 14. However, this was followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter with around 1.3K downloads.

inDrive. Save on city rides began the quarter with downloads at 1.5K, peaking at over 2K in late July, and then gradually declining to around 1.1K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing initially to 6K before declining to about 5.1K.

Lastly, Bolt: Request a Ride observed an upward trend in downloads, reaching its peak at 2.5K in mid-August, followed by a decrease to 742 by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 6.2K to 6.7K during this period.
